Since I just "discovered" you and your Substack a few months ago, I will now take the time to read about your adventures from the beginning. My husband and I have often talked about making a visit to Costa Rica -- perhaps one year we will make it there. Your stories are fascinating. Thanks.
Thanks Nancy! If you read from the beginning you'll get the sense of the adventure for sure, or you can find sections on the desktop version for animals or guest stories for some fun reads! Costa Rica is beautiful, if you get the chance, yes you should visit!
It really was an adventure and the way you tell (and show through your photos) everything is cinematic and makes me want to visit Costa Rica! Your stories make me laugh, cry, cringe, sometimes leave me shocked, intrigued, inspired, and so much more. I particularly enjoyed Linda the sloth, Thurston the owl, and other animal and plant stories, although I always enjoy all of your stories! I’ve re-read some stories aloud, and I always learn something new when I revisit them, because they’re all entertaining.
I've sooooo been loving following this journey! Not sure when I jumped on board but it's been at least a year. So much fun and insight 😊
Thanks Kristi! I think you were an early adopter. 😁

Thanks so much Joy! I appreciate that and I'll have more animal and nature stories coming up too. It was quite the adventure!
