That would be me! Not knowing or worrying about the hairy parts—the beginning and end and only concentrating on the middle. Despite the “oh shit” moments, you are living your best life! Pura Vida 🩵
I would have usually worried about the hairy parts, but when I decided a few days before to do it, and then did it, it was really surreal and I did feel like I had an out of body experience! Plenty of both 'oh shit' and 'pura vida'! Thanks Ilona.
That sign was written for you! OF course you know that, Marlo! How brave! But it does look awesome! And how cute you look in helmet and gear--totally fearless. I really wanted to do a parachute dive, in my 20s, but the desire waned. I'm so glad you did it!!
I get motion sickness, too! I can't read while moving (cars, planes, boats, buses, etc.), can't do treadmills, can't do yoga, can't do roller coasters, can't do boats. Probably can't do long train trips, either, even though I'd love to do, like, Amtrak or something. But I can do big cruise ships. LOL
My first one got me sick, too. We were going to Ocho Rios, Jamaica and our assigned dinner table was next to the fucking window! And the trip was rocky, to say the least and I practically invested in Dramamine that week. The second time was better. We did a family reunion in 2019 on Royal Caribbean's second biggest cruise ship (they just came out with another one that's even bigger) and I felt. NOTHING. I brought Dramamine just in case, but never needed it. Apparently, the bigger the ship, the better the stabilizers? *shrugs* I dunno. But it was great and apparently the only way for me to travel. LOL
Omg you're my hero! Puking and landing AND shouting let's do it again 😆 I don't know if I could do it. We have a place nearby here where I've seen paragliding and it looks so beautiful and serene. But I still don't know if it's for me lol.
Haha! It was fun and I could see so much from above! It really was beautiful and serene. YOLO Kristi-it's pretty 'wild' so it seems up your alley! Give it some thought 😉
I didn't think I could do it either Nancy! But for some reason I wasn't afraid and wanted to do it! Sometimes I think about doing it again, but maybe I'm 1 and done! Thanks for reading!

Wow incredible!! Very Bridget Jones with the landing 😅
I didn’t think of that! Thanks!

Thanks Jeanine! Not sure I could parachute--too high up and I don't think I could just out of a plane, but run of a mountain side, no problem I guess!
Oh I think your gliding was MUCH better. Being up there on the thermals. Running off the mountain sounded scary too. You’re really Brave!!

I'm a little better in cars now if it's a nice and flat and a straight road! I did 1 cruise and very motion sick!

Maybe I will!! I’d rather paraglide than skydive, that’s for damn sure!
Brilliant! 💫
Aw thanks Deanna!
I don’t remember you paragliding?! You certainly are very brave!
Yep! Did it!!
I commend you. I don't think I could paraglide whatsoever. The mere thought of my feet leaving the ground off a cliff would probably paralyze me.

What an incredible memory!! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for reading Dre!
