I planned a retreat for a group of ladies in Greece a couple of weeks ago. They were monitoring the weather weeks before, when it was still cool both here on the east coast and in Greece. They were worried that it wouldn’t be hot. Well it was hottttt by the time we got there and they had worried for nothing. With global warming, the weather has been unpredictable and it’s best to adopt a go with the flow attitude. Weather like many other things, is increasingly out of our control. You are such a cute weather lady though!
Oh love this Marlo! Made me laugh. And wow, the rain in CR is something to behold. When we were there, north of you in Jacó, the BnB had such LARGE gutters (the day was sunny). We wondered at their girth but were soon to find out. I'd NEVER seen it rain so hard anywhere else! Downpour doesn't even begin to cover it. And love that Dylan song.
I'm an any kind of weather traveler! Whatever the universe wants to throw at me, bring it! I once booked a cabin trip to the mountains for my Nov.30th birthday and it turned out to be the COLDEST week of winter when it arrived. My dog and I literally had to go outside in spurts because temps bottomed out around -30 the entire time. But it damn sure made for some cozy cabin time and beautiful photos!
Exactly Kristi! You take advantage of whatever is thrown at you! Cozy cabin time it was that time, next time maybe completely different but we embrace it all and make the best of it!
So many people ask the same thing about the weather here in Jamaica! I stopped looking at the weather app years ago here...it never knows lol 🤣 I just went for my morning walk and it started raining and while I had my umbrella, I didn't even bother putting it up. Since we never know if we will even have water coming out of our pipe each day, I truly treasure every drop of water sent from the universe! 🩵 Btw, I went to massage school in Samara, Costa Rica, so I enjoy your posts even more because of my experience there. Thanks for sharing your stories! 🌈
