Oh my goodness SO MANY "situations". Makes for great reading though haha! And the end result is beautiful of course!
I once read the idea about if I will still be stressing about this in a years time. If not then just chill. Easier said than done though. ESPECIALLY if you're on a timeline lol!
I gotta say, I sort of had steam coming out of my ears just reading this lol. You two are absolute SAINTS for sticking out this life dream for as long as you did. I mean, you could have just moved to Costa Rica and lounged on the beach writing books to try earning money 😂
Every week I read every new "situation" you post, I am inspired by your resilience. Losing your shit is totally allowed!
Sometimes I think I should've just moved and lounged on the beach-although we did get to do that and tried to do that at least once a week because, you know-Beach!!
This time was so stressful-I'm surprised I didn't lose more shit! Thanks Kristi!
Marlo, we're running parallel construction projects! Ayyy Chihuahua!! Wow, the strike is probably the one thing we never had to deal with ): All else, in a country foreign to one's own--up for grabs, baby! But man, all turned out so beautifully for you (though sleepless nights I am positive). So great you have all those photos! Joe our contractor sent us an envelope of construction photos monthly but try as I could, did not find them. It's great you have such a visual way to see how all was done. Pura vida!
The photo of the cafe looks a bit like cafe in the boutique hotel we stayed at in Puntarenas, although your pool looks totally different. I love Costa Rica so much, I should add. You had nerves of steel, both of you. When I did my first ladies retreat last month in Greece, I had a mini-breakdown by day three. Kudos for surviving and thriving through it. What's next?
Costa Rica is a great country!! My 'steel' nerves were shot by this point-but banning the word 'problem' after this was so freeing! Thanks for commenting on your 'losing your shit'-hosting a retreat is hard! and...still figuring out what's next....stay tuned. Pura vida!

Yes! I love that also! If I will still be stressing about it in a years time, others is just chill! Thanks!
At work we often say there are opportunities, but you can get tired hearing that too.
For sure! Mask the word but it still is what it is!
Even extreme patience has it's limits.
We were at the limit!
Problem = challenge.
Oh yes…many challenges!

There’s no couple on earth that could have endured this adventure like you two did. Truly amazing and well done 😊
