I'll just call you "The Above and Beyond-ers," Marlo! Wow, just wow. Lending her your sandals - amazing and it worked! I think you've earned your share of necessary karma in this life, girl.

First off, I'm addicted to White Lotus and can't wait for season 3 😁

I remember one time my mom and I were in a Hampton (Hilton) airport hotel and for the entire 3 days we were in that city it was a freak -35 Celcius that wasnt supposedto happen. We had nowhere to go in that kind of weather and the only thing we could do was Netflix. But in those days, it wasn't on hotel tvs so we only had my laptop. I went to the front desk to ask if they had an HDMI cord so we could connect to the hotel TV and the front desk guy drove to his house to get one for us. In -35 degrees. That small act made our entire weekend in that hell hole town worth it 😁

I resisted watching The White Lotus for so long, and have only watched season 1, but a lot of it so resonated with me-how guests are and what you would do for a guest! It's those little 'small acts' that can make or break your entire trip, right?! When we travel, we always comment that if someone is 'really trying' then it makes such a difference!

Oh wow! What a great attitude for a hotel. I've never been in one that was so accommodating. Kudos to you both and I wonder if the new owners are like you...

Thanks Ilona! We really lived there also so we were highly engaged! The new owners live there part of the time but I'm sure the wonderful team still goes above and beyond!
