Oh yes, people live full-time in homes like that compound. I used to marvel at the shacks there and at one time thought I could build a little one and just squat forever 😂😂

I grew up singing every song on the Free to Be You and Me album, dancing in our living room. What a perfect moment to grab that sledgehammer and get it all out! Big list, big dreams, big smiles, big future.
Me too- I felt my namesake, Marlo, was speaking to me on that album and it still makes me smile and dance! As a female growing up in the 70s and being taught that woman can do the same things as men, I couldn’t not sit by and not pick up that hammer! I hope I’ve taught my daughter the same lesson!
