Wait, what??? You wouldn't do it again? I guess I'll have to stay tuned to hear why that is.

Nope, we wouldn't-the hubs and I both say that. Out of the 5 years of running the hotel, the last let's say 1 1/2-ish were pure bliss, the way we had hoped from the beginning but life throws you curves, so yep. Stayed tuned for sure (rebuilding hotel, etc, COVID hotel and border closures eek, etc. ) But I still smile because it happened-and now on to new chapters.

I'm loving your adventures, Marlo. They're really unique and truly, you guys bit off a big chunk of nerve to do it! And so true—Monday morning quarter-backing makes everything so crystal clear. Awaiting your next installment!

I feel like we go through segments of life for a reason, sometimes that reason doesn't present itself for a long time. You two are different people because of your adventures in paradise!

Thanks Kristi! You are so right-the reason didn't present itself until later. Life is certainly that cycle of segments.

I love this saying; my parents have these words on their wall, next to a photo of one of their late dogs. It's a quote that's fitting for so many parts of life. And it's understanding what you say; I look forward to reading more, but I get it; I think a lot of us who've jumped into something with both feet and had extraordinary life adventures agree; do it again, no; but go back in time and undo it; also no. I can't wait to read more!

Thanks Joy! Life is an adventure and we learn so much by how we move through it!
