I’ve been a bit overwhelmed by the amount of reading I’ve subscribed to here lol 😂 so it’s taking me some time to navigate the best way to support people’s work while also ensuring I make time to read from people like you whom I absolutely adore! 🫂🩵

This was beautiful. It's amazing how living in a different country and culture can completely change your values and life.

Family was also the reason for my return. I loved being in Jamaica but I loved my son more. If I could've kept him in my back pocket it might have been different 😁😁

Thanks for sharing this Marlo! It is undoubtedly part of who you are now.

It’s sad to move on. But sometimes the best thing is to let go and start a new chapter, or even a new book!

Just like when The Fonz jumped the shark on Happy Days. The show was ready to be over after that.

Or like when Stargate was still chugging along after more than a decade. And when The Simpsons hit season 5393. Time to begin again with a fresh story.

Exactly! Fresh chapters await!

I remember that Happy Days episode 😂! (and if you haven't read/listened to Henry Winkler's autobiography, I recommend it-he mentions the shark jumping episode!!)

For some reason, I am sad too that you sold it. Of course you were upset! You put your heart and soul in it, and then you left pieces of yourselves behind. You have done a great job keeping us enmeshed with your stories and emotional reactions. Looking forward to hearing more of your adventures.

Aw thanks Ilona! Super mixed feelings as I was glad to return but it was hard to leave. One thing that hasn't changed , I guess, is that I'm not completely comfortable with big changes like that, but I do know that they provide growth, learning and adventure!
